HMI modules are used to signal states, display measured values and control devices connected to ELVAC RTU systems. According to the needs of the application, it is possible to choose the optimal HMI variant in terms of cost, comfort of operation and the amount of displayed information.
SIG-D-EXTxx panel
The SIG-D-ETX panel is a basic type of HMI panel that contains only the essentials for signaling and controlling a single feeder. It is most commonly used in applications for remote monitoring and control of reclosers and load break switches (sectionaliozers), as the use of more convenient HMI types would be less cost effective due to the minimal need for local operations on these remotely controlled devices located on power line poles.
ESP7 series panels
The ESP7 series panels offer several options for indicating and displaying the status and control of connected devices. Different combinations of LED indication, text or graphic display with touch screen and membrane keypad for control are available. Depending on the specific type, the use of these panels is therefore possible in virtually all types of power distribution and renewable energy sources applications.
ERIC TCP/SP panel
The ERIC TCP/SP panel is the most comfortable variant of the HMI, which consists of two basic modules. The first is a panel computer with the ERICA application, which serves as the HMI display directly supported by the RTU7M firmware. Thus, no application runs on the panel that could affect the function and reliability of the RTU system. The second module contains control buttons to confirm the selected function on the touch screen of the panel PC, as well as alarm indication and a motion sensor to automatically turn the screen off and on when the operator arrives to save screen life.
